Potential Topics

Below are links to tools that might be appropriate for your review and/or comparative analysis. Remember that the tools you choose should be directly relevant to college course work. We'll discuss topics in class as a way of making sure they're appropriate and also avoiding duplication of efforts.

For the comparative analysis, first choose a category of tools and then narrow down to three to test. Consider what limiting criteria you might use, such as availability (on the web vs. downloadable software), platform/OS, cost, potential uses, and so on. Note: I need to approve your category before you start looking for tools to test. Two pairs may work within the same category but they may not test any of the same tools.
